I really appreciate the efforts you people have put to create blog posts as well as on the Forum. The information given in the blog posts is important for everyone who applies for higher studies in US.

I would further suggest that you must interview students who are currently in highly ranked US universities in various programmes and ask them how did they got admissions in those prestigious institutes and according to their experience what are the major points universities consider.For example what was their GRE, TOEFL score, what extra did they add in their SOP and qualifications of the professors from whom they took Recommendations; how did they got scholarship ? 

I think it would be very beneficial for any one who applies to that specific university.
