		<description>Hi. Nice post. Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York State also runs on quarter system.
Another difference, at least in RIT, is that depending on the schedule, some holidays had at other institutes or businesses are not observed at RIT. For instance, this year (2008) Labor Day (first Monday in Sept.) is a working and day for students to attend class.
